Before I ever talked payroll, I spent eight years in law enforcement — work where your word, your judgment, and your composure under pressure are everything.
I held a range of roles across those years, and was chosen by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez for the Leadership Development Institute — a program that invests in the people identified as the agency's next generation of leaders. That experience shaped how I show up for others to this day.
What that career taught me is simple: leadership is service. The best leaders don't sit above the people they serve — they remove obstacles, tell the truth even when it's uncomfortable, and put other people's outcomes ahead of their own. I bring that same servant leadership mindset to every business I partner with.
Away from work, I'm a practicing Jew and the kind of friend who genuinely loves people. You'll usually find me on the golf course or a pickleball court, at the piano, or diving into whatever new skill has caught my curiosity — I'm a lifelong learner by nature, and time with family and friends is what keeps me grounded.
